VariTask XR-Series Adjustable Workcenters

According to the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), back injuries are the number-one work-related hazard in the United States. Among their recommendations for preventing back pain at work (as well as at home) if you must spend long periods sitting at a desk, is to try to stand once an hour and stretch.

When it comes to adjustable computer workstations, sit-to-stand desks, and height adjustable technical benches, Mayline has set the standard for innovation. The VariTask Adjustable Workstation was built out of the concept that workstations should be able to adjust to meet individual ergonomic needs - whether sitting or standing. The VariTask height adjustable computer desk technology, pioneered by the Mayline Company more than thirty years ago, provides work surfaces, even keyboard surfaces, that can be adjusted for height and angle. Today, VariTask Adjustable Workstations are offered in a wide range of sizes, styles and configurations to complement the most widely used office furniture systems.

VariTask XR-Series Product Specifications

Drive System: 24V, Chain Drive, DC motor. 2-leg system has 250 lbs. lifting capacity and draws a maximum of 3 amps.
The 3-leg system has 375 lbs. of lifting capacity and draws a maximum of 4.5 amps start-up and full load.
Travel Range: 26.5" of vertical adjustment from 24" to 50.5" by way of simple to use control switch.
Control Switch: Standard with 3 position memory settings
Modesty Panel: Optional as an 18 gauge perforated 10"H steel panel. Available in Mayline standard colors.
Base: Consists of 14 gauge legs and rigid 14 gauge cross brace. Available in black only. Base ships KD.
Due to the precision alignment of the height-adjustable legs, it is critical the unit is properly leveled for optimum performance.
Work Surfaces: 1 1/8" high pressure laminate with T-mold edge is standard.

These ergonomic desks were built on the concept that workstations should be able to adjust to meet individual needs- whether sitting or standing. The series has been designed to meet the highest standards of functional and ergonomic performance with the most cost-effective adjustable workstations on the market.

VariTask Basic Series provides our most affordable height adjustable solution. Manual assist gear system supports 125 lbs. with a travel range of 11".	VariTask LT Series unprecedented affordability and unique patent pending design. The electric motor has lift capacity of 120 lbs. with a travel range of 26.5"	VariTask XR Series accommodates nearly all sit-to-stand requirements. The electric motors lift 250 lbs. in 2-leg unit and 375 lbs in 3-leg unit, to height of 50.5".
VariTask E-Series has a newly designed with stylish aluminum column. Electric motors lift up to 150 lbs effortlessly and quietly with a travel range of 16".	VariTask Classic Series Patented glide system maximizes stability and alignment. Single or double column electric motors lift up to 400 lbs.with a travel range of 14".	VariTask Stealth Series aesthetically appealing design. The electric motors lift 450 lbs. in 2-leg unit and 550 lbs in 3-leg unit, to height of 49".
