TransAction™ Product Specifications

Frame:

• 11 & 14 gauge CRS steel beams support up to 500 lbs. of mounted equipment. Primary work surfaces support 250 lbs. per user.
• Ships ready-to-assemble for easy job-site handling.   
• Shared leg design using Starter and Adder stations; legs unhanded on dual-sided only.
• Dual-sided stations available in 48", 60" and 72" lengths in 60” depth with or without access panels.
• Single-sided stations available in 48", 60" and 72" lengths in 30" depth.
• Leg end panels are sold in pairs, capping off the ends of station runs. A smaller adder leg is included with each adder unit. Legs are made of cold rolled steel in 11 & 14 gauge steel.
• Leg end panels come standard with a laminate insert to match the work surface of the unit.
• Legs provide vertical cable routing from floor to trough.

Technology Trough:

• 4” W x 2” H welded steel beam provides both structural stability and connections for flat panel displays and fabric or acrylic panels.
• 13.5” W x 7.5”H (dual-sided) or 6.5” W x 7.5” H (single-sided) steel trough runs entire length of each station.
• Preconfigured starter and adder power kits are available with infeed connection through leg panels.  Leg removable rear panel allows for easy feeding of cable to the trough.
• Power Kits can be designed to fit individual requirements upon request.
• Power and data can also be installed in the trough by private contractors if desired by end-user. 
• A surge protector or power strip can be utilized for power by laying it in the trough and bringing the cord vertically in the leg panel to an outlet if desired by the end-user.

Surfaces:

• Primary work surfaces available in choice over 600 high-pressure laminates with a standard PVC knife-edge profile on user edges.  Matching 3mm edge band is used on other sides of the surface and access panels.  The HPL face is covered on the bottom with a backer sheet to prevent warping; core is 1/1/8” thick 45-lb. density particle board.
• Primary work surfaces available standard depths per user: 20.5” single and 23” dual. When combined with 5"D(dual)/5.5”D (single) removable access panels, total usable work surface per user is either 26"D or 28"D. Access panels are finished in matching material to the primary work surface. Two panels per 48” W surface per side of station, three panels per 60”/72” W surface are provided.
• Access panels relocate easily using a plastic dowel locator and a curved cutout for fingers when gripping the panel.  Access panels provide a quick and easy entry into the Technology Trough as needed while maintaining the clean look of the work surface.
• If using laptops and desk top power access panels may not be necessary.  The curved opening is still included to run wires to the trough if needed.
• All work surfaces support optional pencil- drawers or under-counter keyboard platforms.

Accessories:
Returns:

• Preconfigured returns to provide storage and additional workspace.  The returns are non-handed without a modesty panel and are not free standing; they must be attached to the work surface of the desking unit.
• Returns are 42” or 48” wide x 18” (pedestal return) or 19” (lateral return) in depth by 29.5” in height.
• Three attached storage options are available including Box-Box-File or File-File Pedestals or a 2-drawer lateral file.

Technology Support:

• Extruded aluminum post and monitor arms with removable cap to allow for mounting of monitor arms.
• Posts are available in two heights 15” single height and 29 ½” dual height.
• Flat panel display (FPD) posts connect to the beam (square hole) for rigidity. FPD's can be mounted in with a single row or stacked two high using dual height posts. Maximum of 8 monitor per pole.
• Arm supports attach to post with clamp that is slid down one of the  posts vertical channels to the position desired and tightened in that position with an easy to use lever.
• Mounts are only compatible with VESA compliant monitors using 100mm x 100mm or 75mm x 75mm mounting locations and with a maximum weight of 18 lbs.
• Dual FPD Mounts allow for monitors to face either one or both sides of the station.
• Clips that affix to the monitor arm and post are provided for cable management to control wires from the FPD to the trough.  Easy to install and are Included in hardware bag.
• Monitor support system can be mounted to other Mayline products such as CSII, TechWorks, and VariTask by removing the square adapter in the base of the post, drilling a ½” hole into the work surface of the product and attaching with the bolt provided.
• CPU supports offered for one or two CPU's per unit. Available as either a secure enclosure or open platform. Both designs are mobile and are tethered to the station frame to prevent CPU's from being pulled out too far.
• Steel file pedestals are offered in stationary/under-surface, or mobile designs.
• Center drawers provide convenient storage for pencils, paperclips, and other office supplies.

Partitions:
Tackable Fabric Panels:

• CRS steel painted brackets support panels.  Brackets slide in between two layers of panel structure.
• Panel Height 11.5” H.  Overall height 13.5” with bracket. Widths/left-to-right– 24”, 30”, 42”, 54”, 66” and front-to-back 30” and 60”.
• Panels 1” in depth trimmed with ¼” t-mold PVC edging. Coordinated in color to surface t-mold.
• Panel interior consists of a tackable Homasote core material that is FSC, CHPS and LEED compliant.  It is made of 98% recycled materials and contains no urea formaldehyde or asbestos additives.  The substrate is moisture-and mold-resistant. 
• Camie 363 adhesive is used to glue fabric to the substrate.  The glue is VOC compliant for CA & OTC.  This glue is designed to meet the criteria of the FAA 12 seconds vertical test.
• All Mayline corporate fabrics are 100% Recycled Polyester and meet or exceed Flammability - ASTM E-84- Class 1 or A.
  

Acrylic Panels:

• Screen dimensions for left-to-right screens are 24”,30”,42”, 54” and 66” W x ¼”D x 11½” H. Front-to-back screens dimensions are 30” or 60”W x ¼” D x 7 ½” - 11½”H with the 11½” H  being at the center and angling to 7 ½” H at the surface edge.  Overall height of panels is 12 ½” H when mounted in brackets.
• Screen material is Acrylite® Crystal Ice acrylic with flame polished edges to give the appearance of glass.  Both sides are frosted to diffuse light and hot spots, give moderate privacy and resist fingerprints.  The acrylic gives the appearance of glass at half the weight and with greater strength.
• Panel brackets of zinc alloy with a satin silver finish are included in the quantities needed for installation to the unit.  Brackets are bolted to the beam at the center and affixed with anti skid tape on the bracket that affixes the front end of the panel.  An internal grommet is included that holds the panel tightly in the bracket.  A tightening screw is used to securely fasten the panel in the bracket prior to bolting to the beam.
• Green crystal ice is the standard color but blue and clear are available upon request with the chance of a longer lead time depending on availability from our supplier.
