Here are the details for this Paoli Altamont Collection
- FINISH COLOR MATCHING: Different wood species offer unique texture and grain. Minor variations in finish color may occur due to the natural characteristics of wood. Paoli carefully selects all material used in every product insuring a commercially acceptable color and finish.
- CUSTOM FINISHES: Custom finishes can be done for an upcharge. A 3" x 3" sample must be sent to customer service for approval and a quote.
- VENEER: Genuine flat sliced cherry and maple veneers, selectively slip matched to provide proper consistency. Fancy Face tops feature quartered cherry or maple veneer in a reverse box pattern
- TOPS: Finished tops are 17/16” thick with a 5-ply balanced construction and heavy duty backer. Profiled edges feature a solid hardwood internal band. The curved edges utilize a solid hardwood to minimize seams. Edges are a solid hardwood with mitered corners. Select tops feature comfort cut out.
- CHASSIS CONSTRUCTION: Door and drawer fronts are slip matched cherry or maple veneer to match the tops and overlay the chassis. Chassis are assembled with dowel construction for precise tolerances. Units have solid hardwood parting rails and are reinforced with hardwood cleats and glue. All base units have adjustable leveling glides to compensate for uneven floor surfaces. The leveling gludes can be accessed either from underneath or within the unit. Chassis panels are .75” thick with a 3-ply balanced construction. All panels are constructed around a 45 pound density particleboard core.
- DRAWER CONSTRUCTION: Four corner dovetailed box and file drawers are built as separate units for strength and durability. All drawers are finished with a 3 step catalyzed varnish finish to seal the grain and provide a smooth inner surface. Drawers are built with 7/16" wood sides and 3/16" wood bottoms, drawer fronts are slip matched cherry veneers and attached separately.
- DRAWER SUSPENSION: File drawers utilize a heavy duty full extension metal ball bearing slide for smooth operation. Box drawers operate on full extension slides.
- LOCKING: Pedestal locks are standard on all desks, credenzas and returns.
- FILE DRAWERS: Legal width file drawers accommodate letter or legal filing. File drawers feature heavy duty metal filing systems.
- DRAWER HARDWARE: Drawer pulls are available in matte chrome or matte black.
- DOORS AND SHELVES: On select bookcases and cabinets, specifying wood doors includes 3/4” thick wood shelves; whereas specifying glass doors includes 3/16” thick glass shelves, as well as lighting.
- CROWNS: Upper units and select freestanding storage units require a crown to be ordered separately. Crowns are overall 6” in height and 2 ½” in depth. Capital section is 2 ½” tall quartered veneer and is underlined with 9/16” tall ebony strip. Upper crown is solid hardwood.
- BASE: 1” solid hardwood trim rests below the 9/16” ebony revel.
- FINISH: Paoli’s multi-step catalyzed varnish utilizes the latest in technology. The superior strength of Paoli’s tech-age finish provides enhanced stain and mar resistance for lasting beauty and easy maintenance. Altamont is available in Cordovan Cherry, Empire Cherry, Espresso, Golden Cherry, Light Cherry, Mahogany on Cherry, Traditional Cherry, Autumn Maple, Golden Maple, Honey Maple, Natural Maple, Red Maple. All units ship in low luster pearl. High sheen available.
